Virginia Chang

Virginia Chang, Ph.D. is a certified end-of-life doula, educator and writer. She supports the dying and their families to approach end of life in a positive, meaningful and affirming way. She works as a doula privately and as a hospice volunteer for VNS Health. Virginia is on the faculty of the University of Vermont’s End-of-Life Doula Professional Program and is certified by the International End-of-Life Doula Association. Virginia educates about and advocates for positive death awareness and regularly gives talks and workshops at hospitals, medical schools, and community centers across the country. She has been featured in the media, such as CNN, AARP and PBS, and has written on death, mortality, and the doula work in magazines and journals. Virginia works, teaches, writes, and lives in New York City.
