It’s our favorite time of year in the High Rockies of Colorado. Here, the sky is clear. The sunlight glints just a bit more golden. Nights are cool enough for a big wool blanket and the wind carries a hint of the Autumn air to come. It is wedding season. Hiking, biking and paddling season. The ‘get outside and take a deep breath’ season, as the sunflowers line the highways and the hills.
Soul Artist Living provides treasures for everyday ritual.
Here you will find curated objects from our most recent partners and editorial affiliates to celebrate this moment. Other treasures are included because they simply belong.
Out on the West Coast beaches, our friends track the setting sun as it blazes red across the open horizon. A thousand miles away and up in the mountains, we watch the last light spill across the highest peaks, casting a warm alpenglow. Mottled streams of gold pour through lodgepole pines and aspen leaves, catching the sagebrush below. It’s fleeting, wedged between “doing” and “done,” but evening falls brilliant at Cloudfall Pines.
Chapter One of our September Edit gathers a few treasures that belong to this moment.

Talismans for the threshold, these treasures hold the light, warmth and vibrant energy as the seasons change. Gold, stone, scent and cherished beauty. Each object chosen for the brief balance of day and night, before autumn begins its slow tilt toward darkness.

At the corner of the seasons everything seems a little fuller; the fields, the color, the evening sky. Harvest is about noticing what is plentiful—ripe, abundant and available. What is asking to be appreciated right now?

At Cloudfall Pines, September means a warm and aromatic kitchen as we turn the oven back on. We reinstate the ritual of cooking as a family and sitting down to chat about the adventures of work and school. Chapter four is a gathering of provisions, vessels and beauties both collectible and useful in the Soul Artist kitchen.
