Burro's Tail
Joy. Healing. Abundance.
STORY
Burro's tail is a popular and easy-to-grow succulent with rows of fleshy, tear-drop shaped leaf/pods. Native to Honduras and Mexico, mature specimens grow slow and steady but can reach trailing lengths of up to four feet long in six years' time (though the average length is closer to 24 inches).
VASTU
While spiky succulents and cactus plants are not recommended for Sri Vastu, this little gem is more like a Jade plant or Aloe in its full, juicy leaf expression. Similarly, this plant symbolizes joy, healing and abundance.
CARE
Burro's tail is a succulent plant (a desert plant) which thrives in warm sunlight, with less water. It will maintain well even if you miss a watering or two, but prefers as single, heavy watering each month (like a random desert downpour). TIP the trailing stems are fragile. Be sure to keep long trails propped to prevent breaking.
