Ficus Ginseng Bonsai
Creativity & Luck
STORY
Ficus Ginseng is also known as the Chinese Banyan tree. Ficus Benjamina from the same botanical group was part of NASA Clean Air Study. It was found to be extremely effective in improving indoor air quality by removing formaldehyde, xylene and toluene. Within the principles of Feng Shui (the Chinese art of arranging living spaces), Ficus Ginseng is considered to be a good luck plant.
VASTU & FENG SHUI
Vastu recommends growing Bonsai trees outdoors–in your garden or veranda. On the other hand, Feng Shui highly recommends placing bonsai trees in the east, south, and south-east corners of your indoor sanctuary. This stunning tree softens the energy in a room, creating a free-flow of creativity and removing tension from the space.
CARE
Ficus Ginseng is extremely hardy and does not need direct sunlight, or frequent watering. Watering is best once every two weeks. TIP: Don't let the roots sit in water, a pot with proper drainage is best.
Give your Ficus Ginseng consistent indirect sunlight. TIP: Don't move it around, this little beauty likes to stay in one place. Keep it out of wind tunnels, where its leaves might easily fall. Repot your plant annually for optimal growth and nutrient enrichment.
