HER STORY:
According to the Yoruba mythology of West Africa, Yemọja (the ocean goddess) once had a major tiff with the fresh water goddess, Ọṣun. Each sister claimed to be the rightful queen over all the waters. As the two powerful orishas argued, their conflict caused a terrible flood. The surging tides threatened to destroy the earth.
The other Yoruba orishas called Yemọja and Ọṣun into a community circle. They reminded the two goddesses that they are equally important and complimentary in their powers. While Yemọja reigns over the vast ocean and the creatures who live there, Ọṣun provides the gentle healing waters of the rivers. Joined together by the miracle of rainfall, both fresh water and the sea are essential for the nourishment of the planet.
Yemọja and Ọṣun made amends, agreeing to share the goal of creating peace and maintaining natural balance. Together, they represent the sacred qualities of water: force and grace. They invite you to honor the creative power of sisterhood. Join forces with the women in your life who value your gifts and compliment your offerings.

Sweet GAM Bling
The elephant-headed Ganesha is known as the "Remover of Obstacles." He loves sweets and beautiful things. Rose quartz is believed to help heal emotional wounds while encouraging self-love and forgiveness. Warm faceted agate inspires a feeling of grounded calm. Pave CZs and gold filled roses provide brilliant sparkle. All these properties combine to make this treasure truly unique for opening and tending your beautiful heart.
*Gold-filled is much more durable and tarnish-resistant than gold plated jewelry. When you treat this little treasure with care, its radiance will last a long time. Here are some tips for caring for your Sweet GAM Bling:
- Keep your treasure in the sari silk keepsake bag for preservation.
- Use a soft cloth to wipe it clean. Do not use chemicals.
- Direct exposure to lotions, oils, or perfumes can also dull the shine.
- Remove your jewelry during intense exercise or water activities. On-going exposure to sweat, salt water, and chlorine can be damaging.
Each time you put on your Sweet GAM Bling, remind yourself:
"I am Love."
