The ESPERANZA MANIFESTO
The Soul Artist imagines a vast future: brimming with infinite possibility and also eternally empty, waiting to be designed. And redesigned. We call upon the forces of courage and creativity; resilience and optimism for a deeper human connection.

We choose hope.
It is an audacious choice.
Despite economic struggles, health challenges, or personal losses; inside the realities of social conflict and rampant pessimism,
We dare to dream.
We trust the profound promise found in Nature–plant medicine, water remedies and the restorative power of fresh air. We have confidence in the stars.
We believe in basic goodness. The nectar of human kindness springs forever, here.

Announcing the second issue of Soul Artist Journal: ESPERANZA. 
Through these pages, we celebrate those who follow the lead of ESPERANZA as she rises, both fierce and compassionate, over the din of doubt. We honor the light-bearers, the truth-finders and the dream-weavers. We honor those who hold the tension of the opposites with grace; who walk the middle way path of inspired action. ESPERANZA makes us bold. We feel our hearts healing. We believe our words– our movement–can inspire. We recognize the value in eight billion stories and open our ears to listen. We open our eyes to see. ESPERANZA makes us brave. She drives us forward on our quest for peace and freedom, knowing that they are both as close as our next breath. 

Here, in this Soul Artist Journal we actively seek initiatives  and solutions; aspiration and momentum to redesign the eternal emptiness with Love. We are rewarded here, by the proof our shared humanity. 

May this issue of Soul Artist Journal be like a lighthouse to the mind, for anyone who is weary on the cynical seas of social division. May you feel your heart healing and know that your words– your movement–can inspire.
