She comes dressed in white and gold, carrying a veena and a book, riding the swan—a reminder that wisdom is not loud, and knowledge is not rushed.

Saraswatī is the archetype of inspired intelligence.
She governs learning, language, poetry, music, myth, memory, speech, song and the subtle art of listening.
She teaches us that creativity is not something we do—it is something we tend. Something we are.

Sreedevi Bringi, MSc, MS, MA, is a native of South India where she received formal training in yoga, meditation, Sanskrit, and Hindu religious and spiritual traditions. She draws on the Goddess traditions of India for her own spiritual practice, finding inspiration in India’s contemporary women saints. An adjunct faculty member in religious studies at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado, Sreedevi currently teaches courses, workshops, and retreats on raja yoga meditations, Vedanta, Sanskrit, yoga philosophy, Goddess traditions, and various Indian sacred texts. With graduate degrees in chemistry, atmospheric sciences, and environmental education she is keen to integrate modern quantum holist perspectives into ancient Vedanta-yoga-tantra teachings.
